I always waited for a tool to automate the entry of Geocaches into the TangoGPS poi database.
When I searched for a little bug in the code my interest in writing a small tool myself and to improve my Python skills rose.

One thing I missed so far was the ability to calculate the bearing from one point to another on the go. Sometimes on multi caches the next point is just indicated by an angle and the distance.
I created a small python script called coordversion (A mixture of coordinate and conversion). Now you have the possibility to calculate the exact point.
Another thing could be, that the coordinates to the next spot are given in the wrong presentation. Now you don't need to know how to convert them and carry a calculator.

Aber weil alles so toll funktioniert, hat man keine Ausrede wenn man mal die Anmeldung "vergisst" und in diesem Fall wird einem gerne mit dem Rausschmiss von der Uni gedroht.

Ahhh im tollen ie dann folgende Fehlermeldung nachdem immerhin der Login geklappt hat. Diese Meldung hat da wirklich was zu suchen und sollte bloss nicht vorher abgefangen werden.

Ein schönes Linux zum herumtragen und herumentwickeln. Wie das so ist, wenn man es bestellt hat will man es gleich haben. :) Es gibt nur drei Händler in Deutschland, die das Teil vertreiben und bei einem war es wohl nach 2 Tagen ausverkauft. Ein anderer hat es wohl (für mehr Schotter) noch vorrätig, mal sehen.

Ich bin gespannt wie ein Flitzebogen!!!
